Because
you have asked me for so many breeds I didn't have, I created
the "Best of Breed" Head Study series, which I'm adding
more breeds to regularly.

Group
6 - Non-Sporting Breeds
The
word Non-Sporting can be misleading for this group of dogs, but
was adopted because it is actually a miscellany of breeds. The
Poodle, for instance, comes from the Sporting family; the Keeshound,
from the Working or Hound; the Boston Terrier could be classified
as a Toy while the Bulldog belongs to a semi Sporting-Working
family brought down from the bull-baiting days in England. The
breeds in this group are certainly as varied as the uses for which
they were intended. This is an interesting, eclectic collection
of dogs.
