Because
you have asked me for so many breeds I didn't have, I created
the "Best of Breed" Head Study series, which I'm adding
more breeds to regularly.

Group
5- Toy Breeds
This
group is comprised of the very small breeds-hence the word "Toy".
Many are less than ten pounds in weight. They have been household
pets for centuries. Many are carried on the arms of their owners
and have been variously referred to as "sleeve dogs",
"Spaniels Gentle" or "Comforters".
A
number are miniature of the other breeds and while Toys may look
frail and fragile, they are fairly hardy. They do have the advantage
of requiring little exercise, space or food, and therefore make
excellent pets-particularly for apartment dwellers.
