The Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada asked me to do a painting that depicted the rugged hardiness of their beloved Chessy. After much research and consulting with breeders I produced "Good Boy!" explained Mia. A marvelous and tough dog, the Chessy is a real 'workhorse' of the dog world. The hunter 'model' in 'Good Boy!' is Mia Lane's husband.
